 Multicultural Student Organizations

  • Arabic Club - This club is for students both Arab and non-Arab, regardless of religion, to be able to grow and learn about their interests in the Middle East and the Arab world.


  • Black Student Alliance - Our mission is to build a strong black CUA community; through academic excellence, community service and social awareness.




  • CUA Gaels (The Gaels) - The Gaels will be devoted to the celebration of Irish culture, history, and language. We will organize events that will allow CUA students to easily participate in and enjoy.

  • Filipino Organization of Catholic University Students (FOCUS) - The purpose of this organization shall be to learn and promote the Filipino and Filipino-American culture in The Catholic University community.

  • The French and Francophone Club - The French and Francophone Club of The Catholic University of America, an organization open to any member of the University, is designed to familiarize the campus community with the culture and language of French-speaking nations.German Club - The CUA German Club aims to foster international awareness, language skills, and knowledge of German culture. Working in conjunction with the German professors here at CUA we provide an insight into Germany through films, food and cultural events on and off campus. As well as outings to places like the Goethe Institute and the German, Austrian, and Swiss embassies, and the many other resources that are available in the DC metropolitan area.

  • Italian Club - The Italian club is dedicated to exploring and learning about all aspects of the Italian culture.


  • Saudi Student Association - TThe SSA is here to serve the Saudi students attending CUA throughout their college career. We are an organization that represents the Saudi/Arab culture via events that situate ourselves in the CUA community. Anyone is welcomed to join.


  • Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) - National organization of Hispanic engineers to serve as role models for the Hispanic community

  • Spanish Club - El Club de Espanol - The purpose of this organization shall be to gain knowledge and understanding of Spanish and Latin American life, language and culture. Additionally, we seek to promote and encourage cultural exchanges among the many students of Spanish language and/or Hispanic descent. This shall be achieved through speakers, gatherings, lecturers, film viewings, and parties.
